We just do things. It's who we are.
Sometimes we pretend we are a dog and we give our sister the leash.
Sometimes Gabby can't understand why we do that.
Sometimes we make a paper chain and use it as a finish line for a race.
Sometimes we take that same paper chain and rip it to pieces because it's there.
Sometimes we jump on beds.
Sometimes we get all dressed up and link arms with our prince who picks his nose.
Sometimes we draw roads and villages on cardboard.
Sometimes we do it really well.
Sometimes we try to fit two boys and two dogs on a couch.
Sometimes we make elaborate forts in the family room.
Sometimes we are too cool for school.
Sometimes out coolness spreads.
Sometimes we are so cute that our mom wants to give us cheek kisses.
Sometimes we turn furniture into slides.
Sometimes we pad the bottom in case we crash.
Sometimes we make armor out of boxes.
Sometimes we make swords out of pvc and pool noodles.
Sometimes we aren't prepared for mom's picture taking.
Sometimes we pretend we are Xena, Princess Warrior.
Sometimes we battle until someone cries.
Sometimes we make warrior faces for the camera.
Sometimes we enjoy each other's company when we think mom and Aunt Kate aren't looking.
Sometimes we dance when Grandma Pamela sends us cards in the mail.
And sometimes we make mom super claustrophobic with our cuddling. But she loves us anyway.
