Every time we move to a bigger house I get more animals. I can't help it. They bring me such joy and I am a sap for all their little personalities. Weirdo. Now some people (Eric) may say that I have too many animals but I really can't see how that would be possible. How can a person have too much joy?
All three cats in one place. Lizzie (left) only just tolerates the new cats but Ollie (right) thinks she is amazing. He WILL be her friend despite her protests.
Gabby came with me to get the boys from school one day. About five minutes into the trip she climbed up in the car seat all by herself and made herself comfortable. She is such a person sometimes.
Ollie claiming the boys' play area. They must have built this for him.
Two little puppies squished on a chair.
See! I told you he would be her friend despite her protests. He wore her down man!
This is Holly. Holly barks all the time. She barks so much that I took this picture to post on KSL classifieds to see if I could sell her. After two months of no takers I decided she was meant to stay and I bought her a bark collar instead. I like Holly so much better now!
Lizzie always finds the most comfortable places to sleep. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping Caleb.
Our bunnies don't get the attention they should but, when we do get them out, the kids adore getting to hold them. James is an excellent animal caretaker. They really seem to like him.
Gabby has secret desires to eat the kitties. However, since she knows eating the kitties would displease me she contents herself with trying to sit on them and give them harsh cuddles instead. Lizzie and Ginny know to hide when Gabby or Holly walk by but Ollie has no such wisdom. He dares Gabby to sit on him and give him all the cuddles she can dish out.
The cats really like Adam which is funny because he doesn't always like them. You know cats though, they are always drawn to those who would rather not.
Adam the mighty cat herder.
I guess I need to take pictures of the rabbits and chickens as well. Maybe next month.......
