California

July called for another trip to California. It's one of our favorite places to visit.

Everyone got a new doodle pad for the trip. The pads entertained everyone for about 30 minutes leaving 9.5 hours for other nonsense to occur.

A moment of quiet Rebekah time.

No one jumps as high as Adam does on his favorite trampoline.

But everyone tries.

There he goes!

Happy kid.

Sometimes, even though they are 12 months apart, they still end up balancing each other out.

Super David!

Who doesn't sort their rainbow goldfish before eating them?

Seth was the popular one that day. His mom had given him her phone so play with. Like moths to a flame.......

All the Elkins grandchildren except for Ruthie who I'm sure was around there somewhere.

Frosting cookies is a must at Grandma's house as you well know.
Those are lovely teeth my pink girl.

Owie was quite a fan of the sprinkles.

Would you like some cookies with your frosting Clara?

Lovely Maddie! Just like you.

So creative James!

Perfect Adam!

Lovin' those white balls Caleb!

Excellent Emmett!

He appears to be thieving frosting which was given willingly. He can make anything look mischievous.

Rebekah and Andrew found some water to play with. They are such good friends.

Adam and baby Clara. This boy loves his babies. It's too bad all the cousins are growing up.

We are so social.

Life wouldn't be awesome without a Millward/Elkins cook-out.

The kids had a blast.

Duck-duck-goose perhaps?

Wahoo!!

I had the blessing of being able to go shooting with my dad while we were visiting. I used a shotgun to do a pigeon pull like that guy is doing in the background.

I also shot lots of other guns. I have to say it was pretty darn fun and, as you can tell from the above targets, I'm not half bad at it. Hahahaha.......
