March Madness

For those of you not already in the know, March Madness is upon us. Unfortunately, this is not a term I had ever taken into much consideration before my marriage four-and-a-half years ago. Had I been paying attention during my childhood, when my father was participating in this great event, I probably would have learned something that would have been beneficial to my current wedded state. As it is, this year, I am pretending that this is just a normal part of life. Of course we would want to watch four basketball games in a night. Of course we feel that it is vital that BYU go all the way to the championship game. Of course we like it when there is thirty seconds left in a game and somebody fouls someone else and we get to prolong our gaming experience. Of course we love March Madness.

Eric had even created on-line brackets for both of us in the hopes that we would win ten thousand dollars. It appears that we have already failed in that goal and now, we can only continue to compete against each other. As of yesterday, I had 400 points while my husband only had 350. That's right folks, I am winning. I chose the teams myself so I am pretty happy. Eric says in the next round he will make a comeback but I don't care. As of today, I am the champion.
