So this blog post is WAY too late. Some of you (or none of you) may have wondered where I have been. The truth is I maxed out my Picasa storage and couldn't upload anymore pictures to my blog. Imagine my distress at being stopped cold in the middle of my blogging month. I was given the option to purchase more storage but I just couldn't bring myself to give google any thing more than my appreciation and respect. After some careful thought and deliberation, I decided to use Eric's gmail account to carry on my posting. He won't notice since he never blogs himself. Take that google. Anyway, let's pick up where we left off.
Our little James was blessed on 21 October 2012. The majority of our two families turned out for the blessing and we were so grateful for their attendance. James had a brief struggle with the bishop who was holding the microphone during the blessing but other than that he was the perfect baby. We had a little get-together after sacrament meeting to celebrate the occasion and take some wonderful pictures.
Our sweet boy in his blessing outfit. Thank you grandma Cheryl!
My favorite picture of the day. What a happy boy.
Still so cute.
One last one for the road.
A proud father.
Happy parents.
Pure happiness with Suzie.
Having a conversation with grandma Cheryl.
Just for journaling sake: We bought sandwiches and chips to feed people after the blessing but forgot about something to drink until the morning of. Since we couldn't run to the store we reached in the cupboard and pulled out our stash of individual Pomegranate Lemonade Crystal Light packets. After some quick multiplication we came up with...........
this. I don't think it tasted very good because it was an icky flavor to begin with (that is why we had so many packets left over) but at least we gave the people something to wash their food down with.
This is Adam and Alli during the party. I love this picture. They are just way too cute.
An attempted but failed brothers picture. James was pretty done taking pictures by then.
Another failed picture. I don't know why these three can't smile when I want them to. It's like they have their own minds or something.......Still, such an amazingly awesome day.
