I love my James. I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father granted me the opportunity to be sealed to him for time and all eternity. I was so blessed to participate in that experience. James' sealing day was October 20th, 2012 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. It was a day that Eric and I will always remember as being incredible and marvelous.
After careful consideration, Eric and I decided that Adam and Caleb were better off being left outside the temple with friends and family. I would have loved to have them inside with us but we wanted to preserve the sacredness of the experience and Adam and Caleb can sometimes be.......well, you know. We were grateful that we had made that choice later when they both broke down in crying fits. Poor things. It was a long day.
Caleb following Adam and their cousin Alli around the temple. It was quite a battle to get them both into the clothes they are wearing.
Not a look of complete happiness.
Sweet cousin Alli.
Life is always better if you can play in some potting soil.
This was Adam trying to convince my friend Bryan that his shoes needed to come off. Thank you Bryan for not giving in.
My Aunt Nancy, Grandma Rhea, and Grandpa Dave.
My friend Bryan and the boy of the hour.
My sweet boy. He was so good during the sealing. He listened attentively to everything that was going on and behaved wonderfully.
Most of everyone who attended the sealing. Some people escaped before we could snap the picture.
The members of the Berg Family who attended.
The members of the Elkins family who attended. I love the effort that Kate and my mom were making to get the boys to smile.
Yay Team Berg! At least Eric and I seem excited.
