Well, he did it again. My cute husband smiled at me, said please, and snuck another puppy into our already chaotic brood. We drove to Ogden to pick her up on Christmas day. She was the last available Olde English Bulldogge in her litter and she was super cute. She sat on my lap the whole way home and looked at me with her sad puppy eyes. She received a mixed reception when we walked in the door. Most of the boys were only vaguely fascinated and Rebekah instantly demanded that we send her back to where she came from. As for me, it's been quite a ride potty training another stubborn toddler. However, other than that, Gabby has been a wonderful addition to our family.
Sad puppy eyes.
This girl loves the heating vents. She tends to run cold I guess.
She also loves the broom. I have to lock her in her kennel when I use it because she won't let me sweep otherwise.
Lizzie has a love/hate relationship with the Dog. She finds it particularly entertaining to taunt a trapped Gabby from the outside of the kennel.
Or maybe she is just waiting for the door to open so she can nap with her. Like I said, love/hate.
Rebekah finds the kennel very entertaining.
James finds everything entertaining.
And Eric is just happy to have a dog around the house.
Of all our children James is the one who has become most attached to Gabby. She, in turn, adores him and waits patiently for him to wake up every morning to play with her.
He is also her favorite sleeping companion.
Now when the boys run around like maniacs and try to injure each other, they have a four legged friend to join in the fray.
And it seems like they are always.....
running around like maniacs.....
trying to injure each other.
There she is! Get 'em Gabby!
That's our Gabby Girl. May she get this potty training thing down before I run out of carpet cleaner and paper towels......
