The Randomness Of November

That's right! I finished the November blogs in December. Just like I am supposed to. Take that motherhood! Some random moments from November that I wanted to remember.

Once a week while Caleb is in school we take Adam to piano practice and wait in the car for thirty minutes until he is done. Obviously we have too much spare time on our hands.......

This is our new bed. We will have to wait for the newness to wear off before we can use it properly.....

When we added the second closet in our room Eric's favorite outlet was eliminated. He spent a few days charging his phone like this until I rigged an extension cord for him.

Eric and I braved the cold one night to attend the last home game for BYU football. It was all well and good until the end of the third quarter. With 3:18 left on the clock I was suddenly frozen solid. I don't know quite how we made it through the rest of the game but we did. We bleed blue through and through.

For cub scouts Adam had to plan and help prepare a nutritious meal for his family. That meant we all ate peanuts, graham crackers, strawberries, carrots, and milk for dinner one night. He has never been so thrilled to eat dinner with us. Nobody's food grossed him out and he got to share his favorite things with his family. Needless to say, Eric and I had second dinner after the kids went to sleep.

David swallowed a marble from the Mouse Trap game. Four days later the marble emerged. David, who had been watching for the marble that entire time, would not let me throw it away. As a compromise I put it in a container filled with pure bleach and let him look at it for a few minutes before I tossed the whole thing in the dumpster.

He looks way too happy about the whole experience. And perhaps a little manic.

James couldn't pass up taking a picture with the marble as well. I have strange children.

Sometimes when you are Eric's wife you end up with three pallets in your garage filled with stuff that needs a temporary home. Sometimes........

These two got into some primer one day while the painters weren't watching. Goodbye shirts and pants. David had a swath a white in his hair for a month until I cut it out. My trouble makers.

One of the benefits of having a new floor is the fun the boys have pushing Rebekah around on different objects. Here we see James pushing her on the stable for my nativity.

He is quite pleased with his services.

Adam went for a basket.

Happiness in motion.

Uncle Joseph was nice enough to pull David around on a blanket at the same time so he didn't feel left out. Let the race begin!

I'd say the attempt was a success. Yay for November!
