The Randomness Of September

Some random moments from September that I didn't want to forget.

Rebekah loves baskets, boxes, and bags and all things pink.

She also loves to take pictures on her own time. Don't try to sneak one or you will get a talking to.

She also loves spinach and broccoli.

She wakes up asking to eat green things. Strange child.

This is some lovely playdough art that emerged from mixing too many different colors together.

And this is too much body art. She always promises that she will not use the markers to color on herself. Promises get broken I guess.

There she goes in all that pink.

And a super duper close-up of those blue eyes and the popcorn kernel that she stuck up her nose. I just love her.

Aunt Kate is always so good to make crafts with the kids (something I detest) and Rebekah loved the result of this one.

As did the boys.

Who doesn't eat popcorn with a spoon and knife?

One of David's longtime favorite tv shows is Slugterra and one day he asked if I could print off some slug coloring book pages for him to color. This, after his constant nagging for more, more, more, was the result. His room is still papered with them .

Sometimes you fall asleep before you can get comfy.

Sweep that driveway CindeDavid!

Kindergarten has been a hard transition for my David and he has fallen asleep after school on more than one occasion. School is so hard!

Aunt Alyson was in a hospital in Salt Lake for a few days and Caleb and James went with us to see her.

They were perfect angels and they were so happy to see their aunt and uncle, Caleb especially who has a soft spot for Aunt Alyson.

Yep, these are mine.

An amazing fort designed and built by these two hooligans of mine.

I bought Halloween window clings in September and let the kids hang them up early which means they were destroyed before October hit but they sure had fun decorating.

Everyone was so proud of where they had hung their clings and what they had made with them.

Some of them even went high.

My happy boys.

Lizzie likes to take advantage of soft beds and warm boys.

Interestingly, she never sleeps with David. Too many bad memories I guess.

The bunnies in their new home. Pam and Jim were their names and the kids just loved them as you can see in this Video.

Unfortunately, David loved Jim too much and Jim met an untimely end after only a few weeks of being with us. We had a proper funeral and everything and the bunny cages are now padlocked and secured. Oh David.

Another movie trip in September. This is my clan.

September was also our primary program and Grandpa Logan and Aunt Suzie made the long trip to watch everyone and then spent some time with us afterwards. We had such a good day with them. It was smiles all around.

And finally, Eric and I celebrated our twelve-year anniversary in September. We spent the night away at the St. Regis hotel in Park City.

And ate dinner at Edge Steakhouse. The whole experience was a little bit of heaven and I am so grateful that I married this man twelve years ago. Yay for September!
