We got to spend General Conference weekend at our house this October and we loved every minute of it. It was sometimes hard for the boys to pay attention...ok, it was always hard for them to pay attention...but Eric and I enjoyed spending time with them anyway. I love hearing the prophet, apostles, and other church leaders speak to us and it is such a blessing to be able to experience it so readily in our own home.
This year we invited some family over for the Saturday morning session in order to double our enjoyment.
Kevin and Kimber with her best why-are-you-taking-a-picture-of-me-now smile.
Eric giving me an equally irritated look. You would think they had never seen me pull out my camera before.
There are some real smiles. These boys love their Aunt Kate.
Caleb pouting on the couch with a toy.
Seth trying to take said toy from the pouting Caleb.
Cutest Seth ever!
David spent most of his time running around playing with toys.
Seth seemed to think that was a good idea and joined in.
I bought some coloring materials to keep the boys busy for a while.
It lasted a very little while but every second counts when you are trying to listen to a talk.
Adam entertained himself on the Kindle until we made him come and listen to the prophet speak. It was torture for him but we persevered.
And finally, Caleb took my phone and produced his first selfie. He'll get the hang of it eventually. What an amazing and enjoyable conference weekend!
