Pumpkin Land

Last year we took a day in October and went to Pumpkin Land with the boys. They enjoyed it so much that we decided to make a return visit this year as well. We were not disappointed. It was totally worth the money and, as an added extra bonus, David was old enough this time to join in the fun as well.

Caleb sliding down the blow-up slide.

David doing the same.

He thought this slide was AMAZING!

A train of Berg Boys.

Another happy David.

The older boys taking a turn.

They really like each other.

My happy James.

Lovin' that stream of happy drool.....

Have I mentioned he really liked this slide?

No really, it was the best thing EVER!!!

Berg Boys in the bounce house.

Adam bouncing high.

He almost looks freckled here. Cute.

All flushed from bouncing.

Adam quickly found the big slide and started his climb to the top.

Caleb followed shortly thereafter and then they proceeded to pull up the ropes so no one could follow them. The rest of the children at Pumpkin Land were so pleased with their actions.....

That big slide sure was fun!

James couldn't quite climb up the rope and ladder so he climbed up the slide side illegally instead. So pleased with himself to be so high.

He thought it was super fun being a big boy.

Oh my goodness! They are all smiling at the same time!

And they are almost all looking at me at the same time. Will miracles never cease?

David pretending to be a chicken for a while. Hmmm....

This is the start of the corn maze.

The very long and claustrophobic corn maze.......

That had it's highlights......

But seemed never to end. James's excitement here did not match my own. We walked around and around in circles and found numerous dead ends but no exit.

We did finally get out but we had to break though some stalks to do so. Eric hated doing it but he could see the look of desperation on my face and was kind enough to break the rules just for me. Thank heavens for kind husbands.

We played on the swingset for a few minutes before we went to pick out our pumpkins. David was nearly strangled when this swing malfunctioned a few minutes before this picture was taken. I had to do some major adjusting to make sure it didn't happen again. Poor David.

James found his own way to swing.

And Caleb and Adam found other activities to occupy themselves.

Eric went to go get a cart for our pumpkins. He wasn't very happy that I was taking pictures while I should have been bringing our outing to an end. They're all so cute though! I couldn't help myself.

James and Caleb were pretty tired out from all the walking.

But, as you can see from Adam's expression, we all had a pretty good time at Pumpkin Land.
