Family Fun

There was lots of family fun had in the month of October and our phones and their amazing cameras were there to document it all. 

We had to buy a 4-wheeler with a snow plow on it to be prepared to plow our driveway this winter in the hopes we wouldn't get trapped. The boys were super excited about this new purchase. 

They rode for a long time with Eric up and down the driveway. 

James was a little hesitant but eventually gave in. 

David stood over "there" at first so that no one would force him to go for a ride. 

Eventually he agreed to go for a ride with me and we went nice and slow up and down the hill. 

Rebekah explained to everyone who asked that she was not going to get on the 4-wheeler but she was happy to run behind it for fun.

The 4-wheeler wasn't the only family fun we had in October. We also played paper ball war where Eric, Rebekah, and I won handily against the boys who never could quite get their defense organized. 

Additionally, the kids built a fort to eat dinner in. They did quite a good job, if I do say so myself. 

And finally, dad gave everyone a turn in the spinning machine which is quite the thrill for all our littles. Nothing is as amazing as dad when he is home and can play with us. Life as a family has its ups and its downs but I sure do like the high points awfully well.
