The Randomness Of October

Some random moments from October that I wouldn't want to forget.....

Gabby likes to sit on the stairs and listen to me read to the kids at night. She also likes to sit on the stairs so she can watch the cats play and maybe chase them if she thinks I'm not looking. She is a multi-tasker.

Rebekah likes to watch "making" shows on youtube. She has a thing for people demonstrating how to make deserts. Obviously she has sucked James and David in as well.

Caleb takes advantage of our broken couch during hide-and-seek. Maybe one day we will buy a new one........

Can you imagine a better place to sit while you watch your brother play video games?

I guess the floor was too cold for Holly.

My washer and dryer stand was finished in October. It's just lovely, don't you think?

David is confused about how to use a chair.

We came out of church one Sunday to a mound of neatly piled leaves. The children in the ward, David included, made short work of the pile.

This boy lost another tooth!

This is the way Caleb eats a personal pan pizza.

Every day when David goes into kindergarten he is supposed to put his owl on the board. That's him in the corner. Not quite sure what that means psychologically. I also don't know what to think about the fact that he arranged every one else's owls in straight lines. Hmmmmm........

For David's Halloween party Kate made tons of play-dough so the kids could make cute jack-o'-lanterns. They loved it of course and Kate's arms got an amazing workout. Look at that pile of play-dough!

Yay for October!
