Here we go! Here we go! Last Halloween post of the year I promise.
When we finally got the costumes out before Halloween the kids ran outside to have a battle with their newly found weapons.
Even Rebekah joined in the fray.
Although she would rather be blowing bubbles.
I found these cat ears at the store and couldn't resist.
And a little orange headband hat. Have I mentioned I really like having a girl?
James spent some time trying out different costumes. The pink wig almost made the cut.
Super strong Bumble Bee!
The Norse god of??????
And there he goes as a ninja with a hat. So many different options for a little boy.
Bekah trying out her Sophia/Pirate combo.
She really wanted to wear this one but I think she is still a few years off from being able to fit in it We had to hide it to distract her because she was pretty set on it. She even told me that it wouldn't fall off because she could just hold her arms like this all night.
We found a crown that almost made the cut.
But in the end she settled for a traditional Elsa look complete with a loaned necklace from Aunt Kate. Life is good.
My most awesome ninja.
My grim reaper. He loves being the angel of death every year.
My muscle man ninja. Alot of excitement going on here.
And my knight complete with gladiator sword and shield. Awesome Sauce!
On the day of Halloween I was responsible for David's kindergarten Halloween party and was there to take this picture. Aren't they so cute?! Maybe one day Daivd will look at the camera......
For trick-or-treating on Halloween night Uncle Joseph threw some hay bales in the back of his trailer and gave everyone a ride around the neighborhood. I can't imagine trick-or-treating any other way now. He has spoiled us forever.
My happy trick-or-treaters. David is trying to figure out if he has cooties.
All the Utah cousins together again! Yay for trick-or-treating by trailer!
At home there was a mass of candy and prizes with lots of trading and abandonment of treats that were not deemed worthy. I think my kids must be spoiled because I don't remember any unworthy candy when I was growing up. Although, come to think of it, I probably just duped one of my younger siblings into trading me for something better. Trading is key my friends!
Caleb showing off his stash.
Adam quickly abandoned everything he wouldn't eat and focused on what was most important. This boy knows how to prioritize. Yay for Halloween being over!
