Random memories from June....
I found David and James in the kitchen one day playing in this. James ran when he saw me and left his little brother to take the blame. David was totally oblivious to the fact that he was caught red handed. He just thought I had supplied them with a new toy.
I got out the window markers that we had bought James for his birthday. I had turned my back for a few minutes to do something and when I turned back I saw this.
At least they got some of it on the window.
But there was definitely more of it on themselves.
David was outside for a few minutes and started messing with my plants.
When he turned around I saw this. "No, mom. I haven't seen that flower. Why do you ask?"
One of the interesting things about being an asset manager's wife is all the quirky situations you find yourself in. For example, Eric is in charge of emptying the coin laundry bins for one of the complexes he oversees. All of those coins have to be collected and taken to the bank for deposit. Unfortunately, when you have thousands of dollars in quarters it tends to get sort of heavy and you end up standing guard over a broken bucket and coins spilled all over the sidewalk in front of your bank while your husband deposits bucket number two inside and strangers slow down and stare as they pass. What a strange, strange life.
These are a few of my early freezing movement pictures. You can't really tell because they can't jump very high but they were too cute not to post.
Jump...
Jump...
Jump...
Jump...
Run...
What was meant to be a cute picture of everyone together...
...quickly turned into chaos.
One day we couldn't find the kids dvds. Later that night I got this picture from my sister who was watching the boys for us. This is the underside of the bunkbed.
What a clever little thief.
And to sum it all up.....pretzel face Adam. What an amazingly wonderful life I lead.
