Summer Of Fun

August was the last month of summer and we tried our best to make the most of it.

Sno-cones for everyone.

This was one happy girl. Her sno-cone was pink.

Green is David's favorite color.

A light blue for this handsome boy.

And dark for our Adam.

Relaxing with our cones.

Playing with Play-Doh was another day well spent in August.

Everyone got creative.

Caleb thought that whatever this was was the cutest thing ever.

A new nose for James.

David started to mix the colors and at that point I had to walk away. There are very few things that freak me out more than mixed Play-Doh.

Summer also meant the annual ward Primary water party.

There were water balloons, sponge bombs, and sprinklers galore.

Everyone had a rip-roaring time.

On August 21st our part of the world experienced a full solar eclipse. We were going to head up to Burley in order to get closer to it but the kids and Kate all came down with hand, foot, and mouth disease that week and we ended up watching it from our backyard instead. It was an amazing experience regardless.

This is such a cute solar eclipse watcher.

We came, we saw, we conquered.  Yay for summer!
