We spent our second day in California at my family's Pioneer Day celebration for their stake. Living in California means no 24th of July state holiday so the saints usually celebrate the arrival of the pioneers in the valley on Saturday. This makes two years in a row that we have visited my parents during their pioneer day celebration. Perhaps we should make it a goal to turn this into a new Berg family tradition.
We brought picnic food to the celebration to share. Little cousin Emmett decided that Cheetos puffs were his food of choice. Love the neon orange.
Just relaxing.
No, I'm not at all worried that an arm will be pulled out of a socket....
And neither were the boys since all they could say was: "Again! Again! Again!"
So he did it again.
Sweetest bald baby ever!
Taking his turn at relaxing.
Picnicking made David soooo tired. It's hard to be a baby.
Adam spent his time protesting our attendance. Uncle Taylor was nice enough to share his kindle in order to make Adam happy.
Eric thought he should snap a picture of me while we were there to document my presence. Yes, I did indeed attend the celebration.
Old man wrinkles.
Still protesting but isn't he handsome?
Lovin' the curls.
Caleb found a playground and dragged his dad off to play with him.
I guess he had fun there.
James and Emmett took a moment to climb in the cooler and steal some ice. Emmett's bare foot must be so cold.
On our way out Eric stopped to play with his boys again. Three against one and he is still winning.
No, I'm not worried at all that my one-year-old is ten feet in the air.
Run dad! Run!
