One day (when I was feeling the need to be truly overly productive) I decided to make cookies for our neighbors. We are still fairly new to our neighborhood and the kids haven't made any real friends yet. I figured freshly baked pastries with frosting couldn't hurt our chances. During the cookie creation process Adam kept asking me if he could help. Knowing what the cookies would look like if my boys "helped," I politely declined his offer and assured him that I would save some cookies for him and his brothers to decorate after I was done. The following pictures are the results of that promise.
This is Adam's new way of posing for pictures. Not quite sure what he is going for but I enjoy it all the same. The boys made sure to completely coat each frosted cookie with sprinkles. Completely coat mind you. No little sissy sprinkle specs for my boys.
Not wanting to get frosting or sprinkles on his hands Caleb decided to just take a bite right off the cookie rack.
Adam enjoying his creation.
James trying to add just a few more sprinkles. You can never have too many you know.
Yes, that is indeed my third child standing on the table. He really got into his work. David was a good sport for the whole thing too. He knows that next year he can play too.
No thanks dude. I'm good. You eat it.
I was scrubbing sprinkles and sugar off that table for days. It least they all had fun.....
