December was packed full of of fun and interesting things that I just don't want to forget......
Eric and I manage a condo for some friends and one day Eric had to do some maintenance there. We took the boys with us and they and I waited outside in the grassy courtyard while Eric went inside to work. Adam thought this was particularly thrilling and immediately began to run wild.
David and Caleb were perfectly willing to play along as well.
David even borrowed some of dad's tools and proceeded to swing them around his head which, of course, freaked me out. Boys are so scary.
James had just woken up from an impromptu nap in the car and was less than thrilled with our being there. Eric tried to throw some grass on him to hapy him up but he only gave us a look of bemused indifference. We think we are so funny as parents.
I think I have mentioned this before but James falls asleep in the weirdest places and in the weirdest positions. Eric walked downstairs one night only to find this waiting.
He looks so uncomfortable. I don't know why he would trade his bed and blankets for this.
This is James' bear. It is the same bear that my parents bought me at the zoo one year for my birthday when I was younger. He loves bear. He sleeps with her and carries her around the house. It is so sweet to see him love and protect something, especially since he and his brothers are less than affectionate with each other.
James posing so I could experiment with my new flash diffuser. He is such a good sport.
Everything is either a fort or a jungle gym when you are a Berg Boy. In this case my glider was put to use as they knocked it over and began to use it as a shelter.
Adam and James trying to fit in together.
Caleb decided that if he couldn't fit under he could fit over. O Boys......
I opened our fridge one day to find this. I'm not quite sure what they were trying to accomplish here but those toys sure were well chilled afterwards.
I walked upstairs one day to find this mess in my closet. I suspect it was David but I'll never really know.
Speaking of mess, this is how my house usually looks unless you happen to visit right after I clean it. Poor housemaid Camille.
Adam made the solar system one day using various balls and wanted me to document it. He is so smart.
Eric and I attended his work Christmas Party towards the beginning of the month of December. They had a photo booth there and we took some couples pictures. It was hard for me to get down low with Rebecca in my belly but they turned out cute anyway. My husband is so cute.
For Christmas this year we gave homemade bread and jam to Eric's coworkers and bosses. Isn't that just the cutest thing you have ever seen? And all made by yours truly as well. I am so talented. And humble.
We also gave Salsa and chips away to other people. I just love giving gifts at Christmastime.
And finally, this is how the house looked after we got home from our exciting trip to California. So, so, so many toys that needed to be put way and organized. Poor housemaid Camille......
