Team Berg is not the only family who is blessed to celebrate a birthday in April. My brother and his wife Lauren also celebrate the birthday of their little Emmett who was born just four days after James. Since we were all going to be in California at the same time, we decided to celebrate together. Let's just say it was a loud, rambunctious, and joyful occasion for everyone involved.
Adam got a present from Aunt Lauren just because she is a nice person. He was so happy that someone had remembered him. Yes, that is Uncle Taylor's head he is sitting on. Sorry Taylor.
Caleb got dinosaurs from Aunt Lauren too. He loves them and plays with them all the time.
James got a fun blue and green dump truck. He quickly grabbed some rescue bots to see if the dump truck could stand a resilience test. I think it passed.
James was a little scared of this little toy that Grandma Bev gave him until she made it giggle. Then it was all better.
David got a chipmunk from Grandma Bev. He seemed pretty impressed by the whole thing.
Caleb got a fire truck from Grandma Bev. It is currently one of the toys that is carried around our house the most.
Grandma Pamela appreciating James's presents from Grandma Bev.
Caleb also got bubbles. He LOVES bubbles so big happy face here.
Caleb's present from Grandma Pamela and Grandpa Todd was so big that it couldn't be wrapped. The other boys were happy to help Caleb uncover it.
The finished product: Jagger the Switch and go Dino. It stomps, roars, and obeys commands. Who could ask for anything more?!
James got two of these huge V-Tech race tracks. One from Grandma Pamela and Grandpa Todd and one from Aunt Kate and Uncle Joseph. He couldn't wait to put it together.
He enlisted Aunt Lauren to do the dirty work.
Busy cousins.
This is the disaster the opening of the presents left. It was quite fun to pick up afterwards.
Aunt Kate made this amazing cake for the three birthday boys. James and Emmett turned two and Caleb turned three. Cute boys!
Happy Birthday To YOU!!!
Some people like to eat their cake with forks.
And some people abandon their forks early on in the game because the cake is too good to eat slowly.
Yep. It was a pretty good birthday.
