When we were younger my brothers and sister and I were very imaginative and creative children. With an acre of property and lots of time to explore, we came up with some pretty interesting things to do. "Camelot" was one of those things. It all started with a piece of pvc pipe, a pool noodle, and some duct tape. By the time my brothers were finished, there were swords, daggers, and shields everywhere. After we all left home Joseph kept charge of the weapons and made some new ones as well. During this last visit Emmett received a few new swords from Joseph for his birthday which set off the following havoc:
Taylor started it all by trying to battle with his son while in the swing.
Emmett thought this was great fun.
Pretty soon Taylor was fair game for everyone under 4'.
They almost had him.
Four against one just didn't seem fair. (I love how James is including me in the fight btw.)
Uncle Joseph decided to lend a hand and help out.
However, it seemed as if they were still losing.
Taylor finally got the upper hand. Run Caleb! Run!
This boy loves his daddy. Look at that cute smile.
I tried to get the boys to pose for me but they were having way too much fun to listen. Here goes Caleb off to battle.
This was all right up Adam's alley. He smiled and laughed the whole time.
My sweet James with his little sword.
Cousins at war.
Aunt Lauren even spent some time battling the Berg boys.
And the girls had their own showdown.
These two loved when Grandpa decided to play along.
I think James lost this round.
David spent his time trying to figure out the dots on Madison's hat.
When what he really wanted to do was run around with everyone else.
There's always next year......
