California Ends and Pieces

There were, of course, parts of our trip to California that didn't justify their own blog but needed some sort of recognition anyway. I present to you, the randomness of California.

This is what my youngest looked like when we got there. Since Eric didn't come with me and we only stopped once, I just kept throwing crackers and cookies to him from the drivers seat. This was the result.

James has got a thing for stickers and loves to put them everywhere. Aunt Kate gave him some during conference and he was in heaven.

Caleb thinks Madison is pretty cool and was trying to woo her with one of his smiles. I don't think she was falling for it.

I think it is so funny when babies realize that another baby is nearby. There was lots of attempted pinching on David's side and lots of staring and arm flapping on Madison's side. I love cousins.

The cutest baby ever.

Each in their own little world.

I don't think David was all that  impressed with Madison's attempts to grab him. He can dish it out but he can't take it.

James and Emmett giving hugs.

Watching Frozen with Grandpa. My boys watched Frozen quite a few times. They love the ice monster. Grandpa was a good sport putting up with a cartoon.

James slept on my mattress with me every night. He would snuggle and encroach until I felt quite claustrophobic. Then he would smash his head in between the tv and bookshelf and lie still. Kids are so weird.

This is David's "I love you Aunt Kate, and I think you are amazing" face. She was nice enough to share some bananas and apples with him. What a ham.

Speaking of hams.......

These two found themselves unsupervised outside by the fountain. They can in quite drenched.

And James was quite pleased with himself about the whole thing.

Goodness isn't California fun?!!!
