The day after we got home from California we had the opportunity to watch cousin Seth for a few days while his mom and dad took a short anniversary vacation to Disneyland. The boys were so excited to have their cousin come to stay and Seth fit right in to our testosterone charged household. We had so much fun with him.
Just chillin' in the front room.
Seth is in the pulling-yourself-up-on-furniture stage and made good use of all of ours.
A smile for Aunt Kate.
My happy Adam. Man he's cute.
David was the only one who didn't seem entirely thrilled with our little visitor. He loved the thought of him but not the application.
Seth found our clean diapers delicious. Since David likes to knock them out of the bucket and Seth likes to eat them they really made the perfect pair.
Yep. That's really high quality stuff there.
Aunt Kate was here to help for most of his visit. There she is surrounded by nephews.
Sweet baby boy.
Such a darling and gross face and body.
A selfie for posterity.
James thought it was best to put his toys up high since there were so many babies wandering around. What a smart boy.
Caleb and Adam didn't see the need to change their routine in the least. They were just as rambunctious and wild as ever.
Everyone needed a bath by the second night. We decided to let the babies bathe alone for their own protection. They seemed to really enjoy the experience.
No really, they had a lot of fun.
Cute little chubby naked baby.
You can see James's head there. He was just dying to get in and play too.
David was very happy to have a friend.
We had pizza for dinner one night. Seth downed it like a champ.

Caleb relaxing.
Seth spent lots of time trying to take other people's toys while he was with us, as babies generally do. There were mixed feelings about that. Generally if a toy gets stolen between the brothers it is re-stolen relatively quickly. However, no seemed to think it right to re-steal things from Seth so he won the majority of the battles.
Except when it came to David. There was no way David was going to let an usurper steal his toys. After all, he is low man on the totem pole here and loses most of the toy battles. He thought it was a really bad idea to add yet another toy grabber to the mix. As I said, he loved the thought of Seth (he danced and clapped when he first saw him) but not the application. Oh well. Just give them a few years.
Seth trying to steal a book from the David.
Seth succeeding in stealing a toy guitar. You can see how stressed David was.
This is his "please help me mom I really want to play with this" look. Poor thing.
As you can see from this cousin hoard, we had a pretty darn good time.
