Another Party For Adam

Yes, you read that right. Yet another party for my Adam. We drove down to California the day before Adam's birthday. We made good time and everyone handled the trip pretty well except for David who still can't understand why I strap him in a car seat for extended periods of time. It's so hard to be one. To David's great relief we finally arrived at grandma's and grandpa's house without incident and the fun began.

So glad to be free of his bonds and doing something active.

Emily joined us for Adam's party They spent some time on the trampoline before things got started.

Adam having yet another conversation with........

Caleb and Ethan are finally old enough to really play together. It was so fun to watch. I tried to look for a picture where they were both smiling at the same time but no luck. This one will have to do.

We finally gathered in the living room for present opening. Adam took his place next to grandpa.

Grandpa and Caleb having a moment before the first present.

Adam got two Mario shirts and a Mario towel from Emily. He thought that was so awesome and he refuses to use any other towel now.

He also got some money from Aunt Lauren and Grandma Bev which he used to buy yet another game for his 3DS.

Grandma Pamela and Grandpa Todd bought a Mario 3DS cover and.....

Mario Yahtzee. Adam was in Mario heaven.

After presents the kids wandered outside and found that all of grandpa's sprinklers were going. It didn't take them long to get drenched.

Emily was all in.

Adam and Emmett waiting for the sprinkler to come their way. I think Emmett has a birthday cookie there.

Fun in the water!

Taking a break on the slide.

Oh my goodness! It needs to be eaten!

Caleb, a little cold after the fun.

Emily went just a bit farther before everyone called it a day.

Getting warm on the porch.

After everyone dried off a bit we went back to see the new pigs.

It always fascinates me that my children know so little about poultry and livestock. I guess I just assume that since I know it they should too.

The pigs seemed to be a hit for everyone though. Adam especially wanted to touch them which really surprised me. Dirt just doesn't seem to his thing......

Grandpa and his followers.

I think James wanted to climb in a play.

He was really having fun.

What an amazing second birthday party it was for Adam and everyone involved. We are so blessed to have friends and family who love us.
